Velum Noctis, meaning “The Veil of Night”, is about the Dark Sky Preserve in the Spruce Woods Provincial Park in Manitoba. The slow, mystical opening section gives the sensation of one’s eyes adjusting to the darkness, and once your eyes have adjusted, the heavens open and the universe comes to life before your eyes!

With a thoughtful and mysterious opening section, and a joyous dance to follow, this piece is perfect for concerts, contests, and festivals everywhere!
